Getting Started in Roblox High School 2

Welcome to Starcadia Bay

Roblox High School 2 is a campus life sim from Cinder Studio / Roblox High School: Fan Club. You attend classes, hang out around town, customize your avatar, work part-time jobs, and decorate a house you actually own. The experience launched in 2018 (place 2098516465) and no longer receives major feature updates, but servers stay populated enough for roleplay, fashion, and chill grinding.

This guide is the first-day checklist: what to tap, where to walk, and how not to bankrupt yourself on potions before you understand Credits.

Minute zero: join and settle

1. Open the official Roblox High School 2 page and press Play. Confirm the creator is Roblox High School: Fan Club — lookalikes exist.
2. Join the Roblox High School: Fan Club Roblox group when prompted or from the group page. Group membership is the franchise’s community home base even though rank ladders are no longer a progression focus.
3. Allow the map to stream in. Starcadia Bay includes the school campus, downtown shops, neighborhoods, forest, and waterfront. Running blindly is fine; dying is not a fail state.
4. Pick or confirm your role/presentation options if the server offers student-oriented defaults. You can adjust later in settings.

Learn the iCinder phone

The iCinder is RHS2’s in-game smartphone — the spiritual successor to the classic RHS phone UI. Open it early and poke every app so you are not hunting menus mid-class.

Typical phone uses:

• Messaging and group chats with other players
• Job start / shift tools when you are ready for after-school work
• Social and utility shortcuts that keep you from sprinting across campus for every menu

On desktop, learn the keybinds your client shows for phone toggle. On mobile, the phone icon lives with the rest of the touch HUD — give yourself thirty seconds in a quiet corner before the bell.

Alongside the phone, note the right-side utility icons. The present / gift button is how you redeem promo codes (see how to redeem and the Codes Hub). Do not confuse promo UI with phone apps.

Your first school day

RHS2’s heartbeat is the school schedule. When classes are in session, follow the flow into the building and enter the subject rooms. Each class is a short minigame rather than a lecture sim:

Play for completion and placement, not perfection on hour one. Solid participation pays Credits, and the top students of the day can earn bonus Credits at dismissal. Detention exists if you misbehave or skip too aggressively — show up, try the minigame, leave with currency.

Between periods, explore lockers, courtyards, and club spaces. Talk to players; RHS2 is as much a social sandbox as an economy.

After the bell: town and jobs teaser

When the school day ends, Starcadia Bay opens up:

• Club Red — potions for sale and the Potioneer job.
• Sunblox Cafe — delivery driving job with power-ups on the streets.
• Chef Umbra’s — Servant of the Void obstacle / gather job.
• Gear, furniture, vehicle, and specialty shops downtown.

You can start light job shifts from the Jobs flow on the iCinder or by talking to the NPC at each workplace. Shifts are short (a couple of minutes), capped per day unless you spend Replay Tickets, and scale with job level difficulties. First house tips (spend smart)

Housing is the long-term sink that makes Credits feel meaningful. Do not empty your wallet on the largest mansion on day one.

Practical advice:

1. Earn a buffer from classes first. A day or two of solid attendance funds a starter property without Robux panic.
2. Buy a small house or cabin tier when you can. Ownership unlocks the fantasy loop: invite friends, place furniture, screenshot the living room.
3. Visit the furniture shop with a list. Beds, seating, and lighting beat impulse novelty props.
4. Learn the house editor controls in a cheap shell before decorating a premium footprint. The editor has been iterated across RHS2’s life; color-coded tools help on both PC and touch.
5. Save Gems for cosmetics and boosts you truly want. Credits rebuild faster than premium currency.

If a promo skin such as Blurple from RHS2DISCORD lands, apply it to a vehicle you already use — cosmetics feel better when the underlying item was earned.

Social and safety basics

• Use in-game chat norms you are comfortable with; mute freely.
• Decline teleport or trading pressure from strangers promising free mansions.
• Never share passwords for “code redeem sites.”
• Report harassment through Roblox’s normal tools; Fan Club staff still moderate the experiences even without a content roadmap.

Optional: Legacy versus RHS2

If you arrived because of The Hunt: Roblox 20, you may need Roblox High School [Legacy] instead of this modern map. Chuck’s Savior and the Time Travel Schoolpack are documented in the Hunt quest guide. You can absolutely play both: Legacy for the event badge, RHS2 for daily life sim sessions.

Day-one checklist

• Confirmed you are in RHS2 (Fan Club / Cinder Studio place)
• Opened iCinder and located Jobs / social apps
• Found the present icon for codes
• Completed at least one full class block
• Noted Club Red, Sunblox, and Umbra locations on the map
• Set a Credits goal for a starter house
• Bookmarked Guides Hub for Hunt and money deep dives
