iCinder Phone Guide

The iCinder is Roblox High School 2’s in-game smartphone—the control center for school life in Starcadia Bay. New players often confuse phone apps with the separate present / gift HUD button, miss job start prompts, or never find the house teleport. This tool page maps the phone UI, explains the apps you actually use every session, and adds PC versus mobile control tips so you stop fighting the HUD during class transitions.

Pair this page with Getting Started for the full day-one loop, Classes for period minigames, Make Money for job payouts, and the First-Week Checklist when you want a printable plan. Promo strings themselves live on the Codes Hub; the redeem path is detailed in How to Redeem.

What the iCinder is (and is not)

Think of the iCinder as your student phone: schedule awareness, job tools, social shortcuts, and utility apps that keep you from sprinting across campus for every menu. It is not the only HUD. RHS2 also places utility icons on the side of the screen—most importantly the present / gift icon used for Free Rewards and Promo Codes.

SurfaceTypical uses
iCinder phoneJobs app, schedule-oriented helpers, messaging / social utilities, house-related shortcuts players learn on day one
Side HUD present iconFree Rewards panel → Promo Codes redeem box
House icon / housing UITeleport to house, enter decorate / editor modes
Class promptsPeriod start teleports and minigame UIs when the bell rings

If a YouTube thumbnail says “open phone for codes,” treat that as outdated wording. Codes redeem through the present panel—see the dedicated how-to-redeem walkthrough.

Opening the phone on PC and mobile

PC / desktop: Look for the phone toggle keybind your client shows after spawn (players commonly bind or discover a quick key such as C in older guides—always trust the on-screen hint if it differs). You can also click the phone icon on the HUD. Open it once in a quiet courtyard before first period so you are not hunting menus while a class timer runs.

Mobile / tablet: The phone icon sits with the touch HUD cluster. Give yourself a full thumb reach test: open, swipe apps, close, reopen. On smaller phones, rotate to landscape if icons feel cramped. Avoid covering the present icon with chat when you plan to redeem.

Shared tips:

  • Wait for the map and UI scripts to finish loading before declaring an icon “missing.”
  • If the phone or present icon vanishes after a long session, rejoin once—soft UI failures are common in long-lived experiences.
  • Do not install executors promising “auto open menus.” Ban risk is not worth a button you can tap yourself—see the Scripts Hub.

Apps and flows worth learning first

Exact app tiles can shift with UI polish, but the jobs you need the phone for stay stable in maintenance-era RHS2:

Schedule awareness

School still runs on periods drawn from Art, P.E., Math, Science & Engineering, Cooking, Dance, and Performance Arts. Use schedule / class prompts so you arrive on time, then lean on Classes for minigame strategy. Principals with Enforcer tools can rewrite boards—watch live announcements instead of memorizing yesterday’s order.

Jobs app

After the bell, open the Jobs flow on the iCinder or walk to the workplace NPC. RHS2’s three staples remain Club Red Potioneer, Sunblox Delivery, and Servant of the Void at Chef Umbra’s. Shifts are short (about two and a half minutes), capped per day unless you spend Replay Tickets, and scale Easy → Medium → Hard with job level. Full routes and payout thinking live in Make Money and the Jobs tier list.

House teleport & housing shortcuts

Once you own a plot, use the house icon / housing UI to Teleport to House instead of jogging from Club Red every time. Decorating depth—including Advanced House Editor limits—belongs in the Housing guide. Rule of thumb: earn the teleport habit before you buy fancy shells.

Free Rewards & promo codes entry

From the present icon, open Free Rewards / promotions and choose Promo Codes. Paste carefully, Submit once, and verify the reward in the matching inventory (vehicle skins for RHS2DISCORD, wallets for credit codes). September 2026 lists still prioritize RHS2DISCORD as the active Blurple skin string—always verify in-game.

Social / messaging utilities

Use phone social tools to keep friend hangouts organized, then meet at landmarks from the map locations page. Mute freely; RHS2 is all-ages.

Suggested first-session phone drill (5 minutes)

  1. Spawn in Starcadia Bay and confirm Fan Club membership reminders if shown.
  2. Open the iCinder; tap every visible app once so icons feel familiar.
  3. Close the phone; locate the present icon; open Promo Codes without redeeming yet.
  4. Note the house control even if you still have the starter shell.
  5. When a class prompt appears, accept the teleport and finish one minigame.
  6. After school, start one Easy job shift from the Jobs app or NPC.
  7. Redeem live codes from the Codes Hub, then check skins / Credits.

How this fits the sunset-era game

RHS2 no longer ships weekly UI reinventions. Mastering the iCinder once pays for years of maintenance-mode play: classes, jobs, housing, and the rare promo. When platform events spotlight Legacy instead, keep this page for your Starcadia Bay main and use Hunt guides for the classic campus.

Return to the Tools Hub for chooser tables, keep Codes bookmarked on code days, and deepen systems through Guides when the phone stops feeling mysterious.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Roblox High School players.

Is the iCinder where I redeem promo codes?

No. Open the present/gift icon on the HUD, then Promo Codes. The phone handles jobs and other utilities; codes use the Free Rewards present flow.

How do I start jobs from the phone?

Open the Jobs app on the iCinder after school, pick a workplace and difficulty, or walk to the job NPC. See Make Money for shift caps and payout tips.

Can I teleport to my house from the phone or HUD?

Yes. Use the house icon / housing UI to Teleport to House once you own a plot, then decorate with the Housing guide.

What is the fastest PC tip for new players?

Learn the phone toggle and present icon before first period, and keep chat from covering side HUD buttons when you redeem.

Do mobile players get a different redeem path?

Same present → Promo Codes path. Give touch icons extra space, and rejoin if the side rail fails to load.

Should Hunt players learn the iCinder?

Only if you also play RHS2. Chuck’s Savior runs on Legacy; RHS2 phone apps are unrelated to the Hunt hub claim.
